TSE index rises 65,000 points
TSETMC – TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 65,520 points to hit 1,804,300 million on Sunday.
Over 26.238 billion securities worth 151.662 trillion rials (about $335.48 million) were traded at the TSE. TSE is one of the four Iranian stock exchanges and the most important one. The other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
Iran, Belarus discuss transportation
MEHR – Iran and Belarus are expanding cooperation in the transportation sector.
The issue was discussed at the meeting between Belarus’ Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko and Iran’s Deputy Minister of Industries, Mine and Trade Seyyed Mohammad Mousavi.
NPC says diplomacy can shore up petchem exports
IRAN PRESS – The Deputy Head of National Petrochemical Company (NPC) for International Affairs said that exploiting the potential of diplomacy could enhance the exports of petrochemical products. Hossein Alimorad said the capacities of international organizations including ECO and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization could be tapped for the development of Iran’s petrochemical exports.
“Iran’s petrochemical industry is on the path of balanced development, and for this purpose, there are favorable capacities for the growth of exports, and the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be very effective in facilitating exports,” he noted.
